Kathy Woolner's Take-Along Cake: Ingredients:
1 pkg. Duncan Hines German Chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1 1/4 cups water
1 pkg. (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package (mixing cake mix, oil, water, and eggs).
Add chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Pour into prepared pan.
Drizzle melted butter over the batter.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and top with pecans.
Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serve warm or cool completely in the pan.
Serves 12-16 people.
