Jean Floyd's Toll House Pie: Ingredients:
1- 9" unbaked deep-dish pie shell
2 eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
1 pkg (6 oz. or 1 C.) semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped walnuts
Whipped cream or ice cream, optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare pastry.
In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar. Beat until well
blended. Blend in the butter.
Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Bake until set, about 1 hour.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
